Join Gerry Trentham and MVI Faculty in this extraordinary opportunity to connect to the teaching community that has been inspired by Canada’s National Voice Intensive. This project was initiated by Voice Intensive alumni who long to stay connected to the teaching and learning practices of our ever-evolving faculty.
Teacher Training Conversation - online

Join colleagues from across the country and MVI faculty as they Zoom in (gather online) to discuss their interests in teaching voice/body performance. As the Moving Voice Institute begins to offer opportunities for teacher training, we are interested in hearing from you. Join us to gather in community and ignite discussion about the teaching practice that has been honed through decades at CNVI and is now offered through the Moving Voice Institute.

In an in-person session in Vancouver, Gerry Trentham will invite conversation and practice on the nature of teaching groups. Initiated by Vancouver VI alumni, this session looks to help those teachers who are learning to negotiate between individual coaching and group teaching dynamics. The session will follow the interest of those in attendance and consider how each teacher utilizes voice/movement principles to inspire student rigour, growth and imagination.
Cost: $40 for in person sessions
